Hello Glo subscribers, I have a tip for those complaining of slow browsing speed on Glo even when there is full network signal bar on your mobile phone.
Follow this post to know the best and newly discovered Glo APN settings for fast browsing and improved internet speed. Glo is fondly called the grandmasters of data because they still offer the cheapest and best data plans in the country but main issue is internet speed which is reportedly very poor when compared with other networks.
So if you know your phone gets a good glo network in your location yet your browsing and downloading speed is slow, try this new APN and you won't regret it. However, if the Glo network is not in your area or there is no network mast around your area, there is no need in trying this as it may not yield same results. Also if your phone doesn't support 4G LTE network, you may ignore this post and continue with the default Glo APN Settings.
NEW GLO APN SETTINGS (The Best?)
✔️ Go to your phone “Settings“,
✔️ Scroll down to “Mobile Network”
✔️ Then tap on “Access Point Names“.
✔️ In the APNs list, tap on “Glo Flat”
✔️ Then scroll down and tap on “Bearer (Unspecified)” option.
✔️ Now, mark or tick these list of networks (LTE, HSPAP, HSPA, HSUPA, HSD PA). Note: If your phone does not support 4G, do not tick “LTE”.
