Doogee might not be a household name or as popular as brands like Samsung and iPhone but they have taken a bold step in partially solving a problem other smartphone makers are yet to solve.
Notch and Bezelless display is the trending design in smartphone at the moment but no manufacturer has been able to achieve a complete Bezelless Display without the front camera forming a "Notch".
Apple tried so hard to hide the notch in iPhone X but in other to accommodate the front camera hardware, it wasn't completely achieved but Doogee has deviced a means to achieve this yet retain the front camera hardware.
The question now is how did this company achieve this? Instead of throwing in a notch at the top of the display, Doogee has created a full touchscreen, bezel-less, slider phone that hides the front camera when not in use.
The result? A bezel-less smartphone with a 97% screen-to-body ratio. That is as bezel-less as it gets. Plus, the phone is smaller than similar phones with the same size of screen.
It is simply a fabulous idea. 2018 is fixing to be a year of innovation for mobile phones. This slider phone from Doogee is a break from the boring slab form factor that we all have been compelled to live with. Who knew one could implemented a slider in a full touchscreen smartphone?
We have seen Vivo tackle the notch problem with a different approach on the Vivo APEX.
The Doogee Mix 4 will also have an under-display fingerprint sensor just like the Vivo X20 Plus UD and the APEX. Watch the video below;
Well, the Mix for will be available before this year runs out.
