The Smartphone was unveiled today as the latest flagship device from Xiaomi. It features an amazing 8GB RAM, powerful Snapdragon 845 chipset. Xiaomi compared the Mi MIX 2s to Apple iPhone X, Xiaomi says that the Mi Mix 2S takes better pictures, runs longer on a single charge, and gives you a better video game playing experience than the iPhone X.
Meanwhile, the screen size is slightly smaller than that available in Mi Mix 2 as it has 5.99-inch Full HD+ display while the later has 6-inches display. The device has support for Google ARCore and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with support for AI voice assistant.
Camera wise, we are talking about a dual camera phone. There is 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4µm pixel size, OIS, Dual Pixel auto focus and a secondary 12MP rear camera for AI portraits and has AI scene recognition that can detect 25 categories and 206 kinds of scenes.
In fact, the AI feature is one of the highlight specs of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and it's what distinguishes it from other competitors.
For your selfies, there is a 5MP front camera, which has been strangely moved to the bottom part of the phone. It has support for AI portrait selfies as well with real-time background blur and the phone also has face unlock.
As per the design, It has a ceramic body with an aluminium frame. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back. The battery capacity is 3400mAh with support for Quick Charge 3.0 otherwise called fast charging as well as wireless charging.
