Whatsapp has rolled out new update coming as WhatsApp v2.17.81 for iOS devices. This latest version comes with features that allows you watch YouTube videos right inside the app, it also allows you record long voice messages.
The popular instant messaging app continues improving as we have seen some newly added features, the most recent being the recall features which lets you delete mistakenly sent messages. It's also called revoke. But let's take a look at this newly added features.
1. RECORD LONG VOICE MESSAGE: This allows you the luxury of recording long voice messages. To make this possible, when recording a voice message, just swipe up to lock recording so you can continue to record without keeping your finger down.
2. ABILITY TO WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEO: As said earlier, iOS users can now watch/stream YouTube videos right inside the WhatsApp messenger app. With picture-in-picture, you can also keep watching the video while you navigate to another chat.
HOW TO ACTIVATE THIS NEW FEATURES
If you are an iPhone or iPad user, all you need to do is update your WhatsApp to the latest version on iTunes.
Meanwhile, no information yet on when this features will be available for Android users but I believe it shouldn't take much time before it starts rolling out on Playstore.
