Solution:

ReplyDelete"To unroot your tecno y4, you just have to follow these steps.:
Delete1 - Have your battery charged and download the free APP SuperSu on your tecno y4 from Play Store.
Charge the battery on your device to prevent it from turning off during the unroot process. Do not do it with low batter.
To download SuperSu, press this button:
Download SuperSU from Play store.
It will only be installed if you are Root, otherwise, it will give error with the binaries when launching the application
2 - Launch the SuperSu APP that you just installed on your device.
At the beginning, we will be asked to install the binaries. We press continue, unless we have a custome recovery (which is not the common case, only some HTC or if you have installed it yourself), press the normal option and that’s it.
3 - Go to Settings adjust and click on the unroot option.
Once in Setttings, scroll down to find the “Full unroot” option. When pressing this option, your tecno y4 will be immediately unrooted. You won’t be able to access the SuperSu application unless you unroot again your device.
4 - Check that your tecno y4 is unrooted.
Eventually, to check if it is unrooted, go to PlayStore to download the free app called Root checker, launch it and press “Verify root”. It will tell you if your tecno y4 is rooted or not.
5 - Congratulations! You just unrooted your tecno y4!"

The problem I encountered was that all my camera pictures just disappeared. Pls wt really caused that and can I still get them back?
ReplyDeletePossible causes are ur memory card is corrupt,
DeleteYou flashed your phone with a wrong ROM, virus infection, accidentally deleting ur image folder and so on.
The best way to recover your disappeared or deleted images is to download recuva software on your PC.
Connect your phone or use a card reader to connect your memory card to your PC and run the recuva software. Follow onscreen instructions to recover your photos.
I currently don't have issue with my phone now, i want to commend your and the good work you are doing for everyone, i urge to keep it up, i know God will certainly reward you for you works.

It's probably a virus infection and another cause might be low memory space.
DeleteFirst, find huge apps in your phone like whatsapp, Facebook, messenger, snapchat. Delete the apss data and cache to free up some memory.
But remember, you will loose all your settings in those apps.
Pls i tried to install mod apk of asphalt 8 my cx keeps saying app conflicts with an existing package with the same name ....it wont install,but if i install the main apk it will ,pls help
ReplyDeleteIf u really want to install both the main apk and the mod version without conflicting issues, I suggest you download Go Multiple app and install the main app from their then the mod app normally.

DeleteTry and make the mod apk a system file and see if that works.
I had a similar issue with truecaller premium and i quickly made it a system file and it worked perfectly well for me.

DeleteRemember, in default, when a phone connects to Wi-Fi network, it starts updating apps in background. One of the apps that are updated first is the google play services which is a huge app and this might cause freezing or make the phone slow for some minutes during the process of updating.
This is usually noticeable on phones with low memory.

For me i don't really have much problem on my Samsung galaxy core phone, jst dat av bin searching d Google play jst for d best task manager n cleaner dat is much effective to stop all apps coming up in background but I avnt gotten d one of my choice..... Most of d ones am downloading do consume RAM itself n not dat effective, even when I root d phone, d purify consumes ram also.... Pls tell me which one to download to kip my phone safe n run faster. Hi Emma, the itel 1516 doesn't support fast charging technology. But you can try improving it by closing all apps, turning off data, wifi, Bluetooth etc when charging or simply charge the phone overnight.

ReplyDeleteHi Bob, some custom ROMs has this camera bugs. I could remember experiencing similar isue in my Gionee M2 back in 2014. The best solution is to flash the phone back to its stock ROM or look for a better custom rom with no bugs (rare) and flash.

ReplyDeleteTo track an Android phone it needs to have both mobile data and location services turned on. I tend to have them both enabled by default but it’s a good idea to check yours.

2. Swipe down on the Home screen and tap the cell provider icon to enable mobile data.
3. Click this link to the Google Dashboard.
4. Once logged in, the Dashboard will attempt to contact your phone using the IMEI and should show you a map and an address where the phone is either at, or was last pinged.
Once you have located your phone, the Google Dashboard gives you the option to call, lock or erase it. If your phone has been stolen, lock it down or wipe it remotely. If the phone is not currently contactable by Google it will perform the tasks as soon as it can.

ReplyDeleteHello Sam, remember tecno W4 uses just 1gb RAM and a poor processor so it's expected to hang at one time or the other.
DeleteSome apps developed this days requires phones with better Ram and processor to run smoothly so if you are using the main Facebook app, Messenger, Instagram, snapchat or if you have a big game, just uninstall them.
You can download Facebook lite and messenger lite. They are the lighter versions of the main app for phones with low specs capacity.

ReplyDeleteOn the battery issue, you need to recalibrate it or allow to phone to discharge fully. After which you charge it from zero to 100% without any interruption.
DeleteThen about the contacts, copy some contacts to phone memory while some are in the SIM card.
Also try synchronizing it with Google.
I will advise you to replace the battery because it's obviously weak.
DeleteYou should also consider formatting the phone to refresh it. That will fix the slow loading issues. Remember to backup your important files before the backup
