Remember Edge Browser built by Microsoft? Now, the Edge browser is coming to Android and iOS smartphones. Microsoft has already started a beta testing program for Windows Insiders to give Egde mobile a try.
Microsoft Edge on iOS and Android will be able to push pages to and from the PC so you can continue your browsing on multiple devices. This means, if you use the web browser on both your PC and mobile device, you can synchronize your activities including the recent pages you visited on both platforms. You can start something from your mobile device and finish it up in your PC.
Edge will also sync bookmarks, history and reading lists and brings its Reading View to mobile - with it you can eliminate the links, ads and design clutter from an article and focus only on the text.
Unfortunately, you won't be able sync tabs for now with Edge browser as you would do with Google Chrome which is my best web browser.

Meanwhile, Microsoft Edge has a few advantages on Windows 10 PCs over Chrome, Firefox and the likes. It's cleaner, it works fast with HTML5 content and it's generally better for your laptop's battery life compared to its peers. It's also catching up in terms of browser plug-ins. Not least of all Edge works best with Windows Precision drivers for your laptop's trackpad bringing the smoothest multitouch zoom and gestures on Windows 10.

This very feature of being able to synchronize same activities one carried out in our phone to pc is good infact that's the Only feature that differentiate it from other browsers.

If they finally introduced it to the droid devices with smart fast features, i will greatfully embraced it.

ReplyDeleteManaging your browser on multiple devices is convenient. With all of the windows live changes, I'm not surprised the edge browser has expanded to both iOS and Android. I can't wait to see it on my phone for real.

ReplyDeleteYahoo was once the craze of internet searches and social interactions, but now, Google and Facebook are. Microsoft just needs to deliver something very different from what they ship to PC users to get a better market share.
I wouldn't download this if it leaves BETA as UC MINI, CHROME and OPERA MINI is always the way to go for me on MOBILE. BUT AS A TECH ENTHUSIAST, one week of TESTING wouldn't be BAD…

ReplyDeletePsst! The browser won’t use its own rendering engine, but Chrome’s Blink engine and Safari’s WebKit engine.
So they’re trying to be MICROSOFT but can’t choose b/w Google and Apple.

Boat browser mini and UC mini are my two options anytime, any day but any new innovation could change that decision.
