There is an app that allow lets you achieve this. Continue reading.
Split-screen creator is an app that allows Android users to launch two apps in split-window mode automatically, instead of having to manually open one app, launch split-window mode and select a second app. In other words, Split-Screen allows you create multiple windows on your Android device just as it's in Samsung Galaxy S8 and Gionee M6.
Now, there a few drawbacks to this app. When you launch this app, the launcher icon is still visible. To remove this, you need to upgrade to the pro version. Also, Split-Screen Creator does its job by creating widgets, and there is also a widget to take you to the settings screen where you can hide it if you wish. To get started, you will need to add a widget on an open space in the Home screen. This will open a screen where you select the apps you want to make shortcuts for. Here you will find that if an app does not support it, Split-Screen Creator will not be able to create a shortcut for it. Thus, you need to have apps that support the multi-window function before you can create a split screen.

- Launch the same app in two different windows.

Even then, the app is quite simple to use. Reportedly, you can even use the app to launch a multi-window mode shortcut for app and system shortcuts. Therefore, if you want to create a split-screen setup of launching the Chrome app, for example, and a shortcut that takes you to a specific setting on your phone, you can make it happen.
WILL IT WORK ON MY PHONE?
There’s another caveat. This app only works on supported launchers. However, it is unclear which launchers it supports, so you will have to find out if your launcher supports it. Remember this app will need Android Nougat installed in order to run

ReplyDeleteI was truly happy upon seeing this article but along the line i lost interest in it and I'm gonna say why.
ReplyDeleteAndroid split screen is a feature that's available in phones running Android Nougat and the developers of this app should have made it compatible with any Android OS other than Nougat.
Most of us here are still using phones running Android 5 and 6 and this app would have made real sense if compatibility issue wasn't there.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, thanks for sharing this information with us here.
Nougat ke, I am not reading again.
ReplyDeleteThat was the same Nougat compatibility issue that turned me off from downloading the app.
