MTN Nigeria has slightly reviewed the popular Pulse Tariff plan hence the definition has changed. The new MTN Pulse tariff plan is a prepaid tariff plan that allows you enjoy FLAT rate of 11kobo/sec for calls ACROSS ALL local Networks in Nigeria after spending N11 daily.
With MTN Pulse, “You Talk more, Laugh more and Love more”
MTN started data revamping recently which has added some changes to data allocation and prices of some of their official plans. You can check the recently revamped MTN data plans.
However, instead of improving on the Pulse Tariff in this latest review, MTN rather slightly increased the call rate. Whether it's as a result of recession or not, i won't tell.
Before now, MTN customers on Pulse tariff are charged 20 kobo per second before being allowed to enjoy FLAT rate of 11kobo/sec for calls ACROSS ALL local Networks in Nigeria after spending N10 daily. But right now, MTN subscribers on the Pulse tariff plan are charged 22 kobo per seconds. This means they will enjoy call at Flat rate of 11kobo/sec ACROSS ALL local Networks after spending NG₦11 daily.
Other benefits attached to this tariff plan includes:
1. Music streaming on Music+ at N10/day
2. Happy Hour night browsing at NG₦25/day
3. 100% data bonus on purchase of 500MB weekly bundle
4. Data bonus on recharge
5. Plus other life-enriching products and services from MTN

Albeit the addition of 2 kobo, the plan is still pretty reasonable.
ReplyDeleteI can't say if this latest development is a plus or minus based on the fact that i haven't used that plan before.
ReplyDelete@wizytechs,
What are the main differences between MTN ZONE and MTN PULSE
The main difference between mtn zone and mtn pulse is that mtn zone allows you To enjoy discounted rates on your MTN-to-MTN calls and calls to other network at the rate of MTN Zone call Discounts ranges from 2k/seconds, 4k/seconds, 8k/seconds, 12k/seconds, 16k/seconds, 20k/seconds, 24k/seconds and sometime times, 30k/sec while mtn pulse allows you to migrate into theMTN Pulse tariff plan, minutes spent on calls will be accumulated.*.At this point, your calls to all National numbers will be charged at 22k/sec.*.As you make the calls, your accumulated spend will continue to increase.*.When your accumulated spend on calls reaches N11, your callsto all national numbers will reduce to 11kobo/sec.*.You will continue to enjoy the discounted rate - 11kobo/sec for the rest of the day till 11:59pm of that day.*.The next day, the same thing will happen. Your calls will be accumulated up to the defined amount N11after which your calls will drop to 11 kobo/sec.*.When you spend up to the pre-defined daily amount, NGN11 while making a call, the new rate will be charged from the point you qualify.*.If you migrate out of MTN Pulse tariff plan to any other prepaid tariff plan without spending up to the daily fee, all your accumulated spend will becleared.*.If you migrate back into MTN Pulse tariff plan, the system will begin to accumulate your spend again.*.If you have made more than N11 worth of calls while on other tariff plan, it will NOT count towards reaching the pre-defined threshold when you migrate to MTN Pulse tariff plan.
