Today is World’s Emoji Day (yes, that’s a thing), a day where we celebrate the explosion in the use of the little characters that have changed the way we communicate. Below is samples of few popular Naija emoji.

However, Facebook came up with some cool facts about emoji usage in relation to its own apps such as the Facebook app and the messenger app to celebrate the day and enlighten us on what we might not know about this tiny images.

Meanwhile, there are no African countries listed. When we thought we are the best in abusing things like this, the facts here shows Nigerians are still learning.
