Hello guys, do you know you can turn your Chrome browser to a notepad? Yes you can do it with a simple trick which i will drop here for you.
Chrome browser is a popular free app developed by Google for accessing the internet while Notepad is a generic text editor included with all versions of Microsoft Windows that allows you to create, open, and read plaintext files.
Both apps are important and up till now, I haven't seen a PC without them. So what about converting your chrome web browser to also serve as a notepad? You know it will be a good Idea as you won't need to open the regular notepad app in other to code something or type some text that you want to use immediately.
This trick will help you copy and paste any text file within the browser without opening your notepad app. I hope you get the scope now. Good. Alright, follow below guidelines on how to do it on your own Chrome browser.
✔ All you have to do is copy and paste this single line of code into your browser’s URL bar:
✔ data:text/html, <html contenteditable>
✔ Then hit enter.
✔ To start typing... Click on the blank tab window that shows up.
Hurray!! Your Google Chrome browser can now be uses as a notepad and also as a web browser.
TIPS: You can even bookmark the URL so you can access it instantly anytime, any day.
NOTE: You will lose your notes once you close the browser's tab. If you would like to save your notes, try Google Keep, a service that allows you add notes, lists, photos, and audio to Keep thereby capturing what's on your mind and get a reminder later at the right place or time. Speak a voice memo on the go and have it kept for you.
