Android 7 Nougat update is now available on Infinix Note 3 and Note 3 Pro devices. This is coming after an earlier announcement of latest Android Nougat hitting the phone soon.
Android 7.0 is the latest version of Android OS available as of the time of this publication and while top smartphone brands like LG, Samsung, Nexus etc have been providing updates, brands like Infinix, Tecno, Gionee, Innjoo and itel have struggled to provide OTA updates for their users. So this is first of its kind from Infinix mobility to roll out update for android 7.
At the moment, only the Infinix Note 3 and Infinix Note 3 Pro models are receiving the update. The new OS come with a new Notification bar, the quick settings page and the settings page. There are some visual difference compared to older versions of Android. Additionally, the software is based on Infinixs’ XOS Chameleon user interface. More screenshots on this post.
