BlackBerry Aurora has been announced and from the specs, it's the first ever smartphone from the brand to come with dual-SIM support. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and sports a 5.5inch On-cell display that carries support HD resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels.
Blackberry Aurora is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, it has 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage which can be expanded with the use of an external microSD card.
The phone packs 13MPixel primary camera at the back and 8MP front selfie shooter, suitable for selfies and video calls.
The connectivity options includes (4G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, micro USB). The dual SIM phone supports 4G LTE connectivity.
BB Aurora is preloaded with BlackBerry Hub. This offers one of the best security with the DTEKTM preloaded on the phone so both the OS and apps are more protected this time.
The security app can tell the user whether the device’s camera or accessing other functions on the phone is being secretly accessed by someone. Talking about security, the smartphone does not feature a fingerprint scanner.
In terms of battery capacity, the Aurora uses a 3000mAh battery. The price? It will cost you $262 to get the phone. At the moment, it's available only in the Indonesian market.
