I was just studying the newly introduced MTN 4G LTE Data plans plus the prices and to tell you the real truth, the unlimited plan is absolutely costly when compared to what ntel offers for the same unlimited plan.

Remember nTel is offering one month unlimited 4G data plan for N10,000 while MTN is offering their 4G unlimited plan at a crazy price of N36,999 for just one month.

You can see the wide margin between the two 4G network providers. It's also worthy to remember that the 4G network speed test recently performed revealed that nTel speed is far better than that of MTN when it comes to browsing, downloading and streaming on the LTE network.

Apart from the unlimited monthly data plan from MTN, there are other cheaper plans you can consider because that unlimited package is for the Dangotes 😜

In conclusion, MTN unlimited 4G plan is costly. Yes but in another view, they have more coverage and signals in many states unlike nTel that is still managing to cover few states at the moment. Also, MTN’s 4G LTE service has not fully kicked off yet, as it is only available on Visafone lines that have migrated to MTN. So there is a high chance it might be modified once full service commence.
