Gionee Smartphone company are at it again with a sleek beautiful device that will shock you.
Gionee is known for their outstanding fit in producing Smartphones with great battery life and in this one, the took it to the next step that will only "wow" you.
Most of us know about the Gionee marathon M2 with a massive 4200mAh battery capacity and some guys are still using it including me. It's one of my devices and I have no plan of discarding it soon because of the great battery life it possesses. Now Gionee have released a mini version of the Gionee marathon M2 with similar specs but at a very very cheaper price that would beat your imagination. Honestly the competition in the smartphone industry is favoring the smartphone users. Alright, at this stage, I will like to show you some specs and review of this Gionee M2 mini.
Gionee M2 Mini Review And Specs
Like I previously said, this device is a mini version of the gionee m2 but the specs are nearly the same apart from few hardware parts that are lesser than the gionee m2.
Price: N13,900 to N16,800 (depending on time of purchase and location) I intentionally wanted to begin this review with the price tag of this phone. It is too especially when you look at the specs. I bet you smartphone beats this product from gionee at this price range not even the now famous Infinix Hot 2
Operating System: This is one of the surprising features of this very affordable smartphone. It runs on the latest Android lollipop 5.1 operating system which is even better than its predecessor, the gionee m2 which runs on KitKat. It's worthy to note that Android 5.1 has better battery management features and nice multitasking ability. Wait, don't scream yet.
RAM: A phone of N13,900 running on 1GB RAM? Like seriously? But that's actually what this device offers and that means a lot more speed and smooth operation. These specs are getting me off balance. Am not yet through though.
Memory/ROM: Gionee M2 Mini has an 8GB internal memory and an option to increase it to 32GB with an SD card. If you cross check the above specs so far you will notice that this device has even more features than gionee m2 because this mini version is running on the latest Android 5.1 operating system. But then, there are some features where it falls behind that of its predecessor, the marathon M2.
Display: Like I said, unlike the gionee marathon M2 which was designed with 5 inches touch screen display, this device is designed with 4 inches touch screen display.
Processor/CPU: 1.3GHz Quad-core processor which is fairly okay
Sim: It supports double/dual sim. As a matter of fact, any smartphone that doesn't support dual sim at the moment is a no no for most people. No one want to be carrying many different phones about.
Camera: 5MP with flash LED light. The camera detects smile, panorama, scene geotaging and so on. Trust me, 5MP might not sound great in your ears because most of the new flagship devices are now designed with 8MP, 13MP and above but what really matters is not the number of Megapixel but the quality in the snapshot. Having used this device to snap a couple of time, I noticed its actually much better than some 8MP camera devices.
Battery: A very strong 3000mAh that can take you the whole day with heavy usage. This is really what makes gionee products outsmart others.
Network: It supports 2G, 3G, 3.75G
WiFi Connection: Yes
Bluetooth: Yes
FM Radio: Yes
USB: Yes
Bonus: Free MTN Data SIM

You can see from the above specs that this phone is really too cheap to ignore. One can just buy it and use as a supporting phone because of the powerful battery and other nice specs.

I can recall vividly when this device was launched, some of my friends never accepted it to be a product from GIONEE because no news was heard before they started marketing it.
ReplyDeleteI was even thinking that it was a cloned device
