We are in the stage that almost all our activities are now graphically documented and even shown to the world through social media platforms like facebook, twitter, whatsapp, instagram, to mention but a few. Selfie taking is the trending thing now especially among the stars and celebrities all over the world.

It's fun to take selfies but some people go the extra mile of taking selfies in places that doesn't seem right. For example, i have seen ladies taking selfies inside their rest room...outch!!! that is really disgusting and uncalled for. Last month a lady got drowned in an ocean where she was taking selfies and
a similar tragedy happened to a lady two weeks ago where she fell from a bridge just because of selfie taking.

What am trying to say here is that, selfie taking is fun but too much of everything and carelessness can be dangerous.

You can agree with me that samsung is a household name when it comes to electronics and of course mobile phones.  The brand is accepted all over the globe because of their quality products. Now as regards to the quality of the samsung galaxy s6, its 5MP sensor on the front with a f/1.9 aperture is very impressive and includes digital image stabilization and real time HDR which actually make the selfies you take with it very clear, smooth and flawless.

Tecno? Like seriously? I know you are surprised at this stage right now because a product from tecno made my top three list of best phones for taking selfies. Now, wait before you start killing me. (Smiles). This tecno Camon C8 is the latest product from tecno at the moment. This device's main selling point is its awesome and wonderful camera quality. It is even brighter and more digital than that of iPhone 6. Am always comparing with iPhone 6 because it is regarded as one of the best smartphone in town now. Well, having said that, this tecno Camon C8 is built with a massive 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front facing camera. Now the issue is not just about the number of mega pixels (MP) but it supports visidon face recognition technology and a led flash integrated both at the back and in front which makes it different from others as you can easily snap an impressive selfie in low light environment.

4. The Sony Xperia C4
The next device in the list of best smartphones for taking selfies is the builtiful and sleek Sony Xperia C4. Sony as a brand is known for producing some mind blowing cameras and the rightly transferred that initiative to this smartphone of theirs. This device provides you with a capable front-facing 25mm wide angle 5MP shooter with a LED flash. This device also has a 13MP back camera with Led flashlight also. Apart from the fact that it has a 5MP camera, the company also installed some nice apps that you can use together with the front facing camera to give you a more better selfie experience.

5. Nokia Lumia 730
The last but definitely not the least on our list of best selfie taking smartphones is this wonderful product from the mobile phone giants Nokia. The Nokia Lumia 730 has the ability to take selfies in HD quality and can also record videos using the front camera. I call that smartness. The front facing camera is 6.7MP but the downside however, is that Nokia didn't include a quality led flash light at the front like it is in the tecno Camon C8. The one in Nokia lumia 730 is not that impressive compared with others in this list.
