This is not really a surprise to me considering the speed at which android and iOS smartphones are taking over the mobile industry. Just like Nokia Symbian Operating system gradually became history, what will happen to BBM or Blackberry devices if the company finally decide to call it a quit
in producing new ones because of losses they are recording recently? I know of some persons who are damn crazy about blackberry devices that they vow never to use any other devices.

The
truth is, Blackberry might be forced to stop making smartphones if turnaround
efforts fail to gain traction, Chief Executive Officer John Chen said in an
interview.
"BlackBerry’s
smartphone revenue fell 31 percent to $263 million in the most recent quarter
from a year earlier. If the current state continues for a “long time” and drags
down the company’s shareholders and balance sheet, it wouldn’t be right to keep
going", Chen said.
What
will you do if Blackberry is no more? Will you port to Android or iOS or you’ll
move back to our beloved Windows?

The only blackberry phone that i have ever used was one of those in the curved series and it lasted just one month in my hand after which i sold it out.
ReplyDeleteBack then i was using Nokia E5 and lots of people were always talking about BB, so i decided to try it out.
