The Infinix S2 is here, a smartphone that allows you capture special memories with its dual front facing camera and wide angle capabilities. The fun just started. The S2 is the smaller version of Infinix S2 Pro and both devices sharing similar specs, the only noticeable difference being the memory capacity. While we have 3gb RAM and 32gb ROM on the S2 Pro, the S2 offers 2gb RAM and 16gb ROM. Apart from that all other specs seems to be the same.

When looking at Infinix S2 specification, it sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display while the selling point is the dual selfie cameras with a setup that produces wide angle selfies which earned it the name "Wefie phone". The 4G LTE supported Infinix S2 runs Android 6 Marshmallow out of the box. (let's hope Infinix Mobility pushes Android 7.0 Nougat update to it soon)

Infinix S2 is powered by 64-bit Octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 Mediatek 6573 processor and packs dual 13-megapixel front camera (wefie) for an amazing selfie experience while at the back it also packs 13-megapixel shooter. The handset comes in three color options which are Gold, Rose Gold, Black. So you have plethora of colors to choose from.

In terms of sensors, the Infinix S2 supports Fingerprint, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Proximity, Gyroscope sensors and for the price? It costs N62,000 in Nigeria, Ksh 15,699 in Kenya and ₱8,990 in Philippines. Below is the full Infinix S2 specifications.

    Whenever a phone comes in variants, then we shouldn't expect to get all the high-end features incorporated into one unit.

    The 2gb RAM is manageable and also is the battery.

    Research has it that latest OS do not consume much battery.

    Infinix S2 Pro has 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM, Hot S has 2GB with 16GB ROM
    infinix S2 Pro is designed with dual front cameras (13MP +8MP) whereas the Infinix Hot S has only an 8MP as a front shooter. The rear cameras are 13MP on both
    Infinix S2 Pro is unique, nicely designed with edge cutting technology that stands out as a camera phone. It has good cameras overall but it’s more of a selfie (Wefie) phone. Fingerprint identification is also set on this.
