Ntel network is here to stay and many people have already gotten their reserved SIM card. So what next? You have to start browsing ASAP. But before that, you need to configure your phone for the Ntel internet network.
Just as MTN, Etisalat, Glo and Airtel have their respective APN configurations, Ntel also have it so if you have a compatible smartphone, mifi or modem and need to configure it for internet browsing, I have the Ntel 4G internet APN settings that you need to use on your phone available for you right here on this blog WizyTechs.Com so follow me along as i expose the settings. But before that, there are some requirements and of course, your phone must be a compatible phone with the 4G LTE technology.
Requirements
=> Make sure that your cell phone is Flexible Division Duplex (FDD) with support for LTE 3 (1800MHz) and 8 (900MHz) spectrum bands. You can easily find this information on the product packaging or documentation which usually comes with it.
2. You will need to enable 4G services in your device and to do this, simply go to the Mobile Networks on your phone and select Select 4G (recommended) or LTE Only as your preferred network mode.
3. Then, go to Access Point Names (APN) settings and create a new APN and name it “Ntel 4G” or any name of your choice which you can use to identify it. Note that this settings might vary depending on the phone brand you are using. After locating the phone APN, then use the following "configuration" below
I will show you two options that can be used.
Ntel 4G APN internet settings (First Option)
APN: ntel
username: ntel
password: ntel
Then leave every other field in the APN Settings and save it and activate as your default or active APN. After this, try browsing and it should connect but if after applying the settings above and you still find it unable to browse, then use the second option below.
Ntel 4G internet settings (Second Option)
APN: ntel
username: blank
password: blank
It should browse with anyone of the settings but even if you still find it difficult to browse after the above two settings, kindly comment using the comment section below.
