While Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 MediaTek version was released in November, 2015, this snapdragon version is released just few days ago in January, 2016. The two phones are almost the same in terms of specifications and features but the snapdragon VARIANT is slightly better than the MTK variant as the battery capacity defers. The MTK note 3 have a 4000mAh battery while the snapdragon have a 4050mAh battery. Also the snapdragon is fully designed with complete sleek metal body and both devices support 4G LTE and finger print technology with fast charging
